Real-Time Collaboration: Co-Edit Workflows Like Google Docs

Building AI applications is a team sport. Today we're launching real-time collaboration, allowing multiple team members to co-edit workflows, agents, and knowledge base configurations simultaneously - just like Google Docs.
The system uses Operational Transformation (OT) to handle concurrent edits without conflicts. When two people modify the same workflow node, the OT engine automatically transforms and merges the operations so both changes are preserved correctly.
Presence awareness shows real-time cursors and selections for every collaborator. You can see who's editing what, with color-coded cursors and live position updates. Node-level locking prevents conflicting edits on the same element while allowing parallel work on different nodes.
Inline comments let reviewers leave feedback directly on workflow nodes, agent configurations, or knowledge base settings. Comments support threads, @mentions, and resolution tracking - bringing code review workflows to AI development.
Collaboration works over WebSocket connections with automatic reconnection and offline queuing. All operations are persisted and synchronized through Redis pub/sub, so the system scales horizontally across multiple server instances.
